Pirate!Denmark X Reader: Saving the Princess

Since your family died from horrible tragedy, you've been working under your terrible aunt, She's not treating you as her niece but a servant. You're working at her small pub located at a small village near at the sea as a receptionist. You really want to leave your aunt but if you leave, you don't know where you are staying, you don't have any relatives . You're tired of forcing yourself to smile in front of the customers, most of them are men. They're just coming at the pub just to see you or make fun of you.

Before your hardship in life, You live at a castle so you're a princess, you ran away from home because of an engagement. Your father engaged you to a young-rich French, his name was Francis Bonnefoy, he fell for you at a first glance but you know that he'll leave you someday. Even running away from the castle Francis is still inlove with you. He's been following you every corner of the earth. You saw yourself at the newspaper, labeled "Missing Princess" there's also a reward written there, half of the treasure of the royal family. You try a lot method to avoid getting caught, one of that is cutting your hair. There are still rumors that your father is still alive after the burning castle incident, It caused you more fear to come back.


One day, a ship was coming straightly to the sea coast. When you take a peek at the window, Pirates came out from there.

"Pirates!!!" the old man cried, causing the villagers panic. The villagers ran to their homes and locked them. You hurriedly locked the front door but it was useless, the pirates were already tin front of the pub. One of the pirate kicked the door open. Your eyes were trembling in fear, you ran upstairs but the pirate caught you. He covered your mouth by a handkerchief, the scent made you sleep.

The pirates set the pub on fire and they brought you to their ship, unconcious not knowing what's happening and set sail.

"Is she really ___?"

"Of course she is! Look at her hair! It's (h/c) right?"

"(h/c) is common and ___ don't have a medium hair like that, dimwit"

"But i have a feelin' that she's ___!"

The noise made you woke up, you slowly open your eyes and you saw five men surrounding you.

'Where am i...?' you wondered, when you looked at your side, you saw a man with messy blond hair and blue eyes, He's tall, wearing a pirate outfit and an eyepatch. His blue eyes were familiar to you. You suddenly elbowed him and get the pistol from his holster.

"Bring me back to the village!" you cried

"Woah, did ___ grow violently?" The tall blond smirked, Before you can say anything a tall man grabbed the pistol from you, he kinda' looks scary

"It's dangerous" he said with a deep voice

"Why do you know my name?" you asked, but the person you're asking didn't say anything

"So you didn't remember me, huh?" the blond sighed, he removed his pirate hat and his eyepatch

"Remember me now?" he smiled at you.

"M-Mathias!?" your eyes widened

"Ya' bet!" he grinned proudly

"It's been a while!" you exclaimed and hug him

"Yeah! It's been a while! You've grown beautifully, huh?"

"Really?"

"Yeah! Try asking Sve, he'll say the same thing!"

"I'll not!" Sweden slightly blush

You met Denmark when you two were little, so you two were childhood friends, you met him on the sea while taking a walk and saw him sitting on the sand. He was a Pirate's son, so that makes sense that he's a pirate now. You only spent a short time with him but you're hoping that someday you can spend a longer time.


"Who is he?" you asked, referring to the boy with a gray hair

"What the hell ___? Don't you remember him? It's Ice!"

"Emil...?"

"What ___? did you also become an airheaded like Den?" Iceland crossed his arms

"Emil~!" you ran to him and gave him a bear hug

"Oww, I can't breathe"

"You really grew up! You're still a baby when the last time i saw you!" you said while stretching his cheeks and he just pouted

"Hu(Do) yu(you) reheher(remember) the hre(three) herhon(person) her(there)?" Iceland babbled

"Hmmm... The scary dude there is Berwald right? I can tell from his look" you giggled

"How can she understand Ice...?" Denmark wondered

"...Then, That cocky looking boy is Lukas, right?" you asked and Denmark nodded

"And...who is that?" you asked as you raise your eyebrow

"Waaa~ ___ don't remember me!" Finland sobbed and ran to Sweden

"That voice..." you muttered "Tino...?"

"Yaay~ ___ remembers me!" he now ran to you and hug you

'He recovers that fast!?' you thought

"I didn't recognize you, why don't you remove that skull mask?" you asked

"Su-san gave it to me"

"Oh really...?" You grinned as if there was something in your mind, you approached to Sweden and whispered something

"How are you and Tino? Is he now your wife?" you teased

"W-what are ya' sayin' ___!?" he cried, Sweden is now fully red

"I thought so!" you chuckled

"Ahh Sve you liar, I saw you and Fin ma-" Before Norway say more Denmark covered his mouth

"Making out" Iceland continued

"Really!?"

"Why are we talkin' somethin' like this...?" Sweden facepalmed

"What? It's true right?" Iceland said, secretly giggling

"Am i amazed or what?" you chuckled again

"Hey ___, why don't you take a rest?" Denmark suggested

"It's okay, I'm not tired"

"So, how about taking a walk?"

"Sure!!"

You and Denmark head to the main deck, When you two about to leave, Denmark looked at the four and smiled at them, He's like "___ is mine" and closed the door.

"Hey Ice, Don't you think Bror(Denmark) likes ___?" said Norway suspiciously

"You notice that too?"

"It's blindingly obvious!"

"But i don't think ___ likes Den, ___ is a princess right? there's no way in hell a princess will fall inlove with a dimwit"

"You're so rude, Ice!" said Finland

"Whatever..." Iceland mumbled and left the cabin

"Ice is growing up, isn't he?" said Finland

"Nh" Sweden agreed



You and Denmark on the other hand...

"Hey Math"

"Hm?"

"What gotten in your head-that-only-contains-air made you kidnap me!?" you snarled

"Calm down..." he sighed

"Bonnefoy's gonna kidnap you, so i kidnapped ya' first " he explained "And don't talk like you're Ice!"

"How did you know?"

"Fin and Sve is spyin' Bonnefoy's castle"

"How come they are not caught? I heard Francis' castle has a tight security?"

"We are pros after all!" he chuckled "My turn to ask, why did you cut your hair!?" he growled out suddenly

"They'll throw me back at the castle!!!" you growled back

"You should just hide it in a hat or somethin'..."

"That won't do"

"Fine... Don't cut it again okay?" he said while patting your head, If you analyze his words Denmark loves your hair.

"Okay~"

"Hey Captain! your lass?" a drunk pirate asked

"Shut up, don't get too much drunk I still have a job for you" said Denmark

"So you're a Captain now, huh?"

"Amazing isn't it?" he said proudly but you didn't give him a reponse, you just smiled at him

When you stepped on the main deck, the air was so refreshing, you can see seagulls flying freely and the sparkling sea.

"The view is so relaxing isn't it?"

"Totally!"

"___..." he called

"Yes?"

"Why don't you come back to the castle?" he asked suddenly and leaned to the borders of the ship

"I rather die than to come back..."

"Tell your Father what you feel"

"He won't understand" you sighed and stand beside him

"He will understand, he's doing things to make you happy" he said as he place his arm over your shoulder and kissed your temple.

Then a crew approached to Denmark

"Captain! Francis Bonnefoy's ship is coming!" the crew cried

"Prepare the tanks!" he ordered
